Another guiding and excellent article you’ve written. May continue blessing, keeping and using you! Grace to you, and peace be multiplied!
These are the 12 commandments for Apostolic Leadership. Paste them in front of your computer desk.
I agree with the need to set aside obsession with the Protestant-Catholic divide. And the need for the Protest-ant movement to realize there is a divisive, even fractious, spirit among us that is not present among our Catholic brethren….for a reason. Maybe it’s time to own some stuff. 500 years late, but better late than never. You never see a Catholic church opening up in a strip mall because a bunch of people disagreed with a few homilies.
Lots to digest in this one
Awesome!
I don’t have 50 to sign up for your apostolic articles, is there another way to get them
It really sounds good on paper. But the integration with secular, and the integration of demoninations, have turned into nothing more than “lets not offend.” Our churches are starving to know a difference between the sinful world and the walk of the body of Christ. Our churches are starving for information, to know what they believe, to dig in deep. Congreations are on the extra-lite version of milk. They do not make a difference. Sure it would be great if there were accepting political and non-religious speak, but like anything else, the world influences the church ultimately, more than the chruch influences the world. The aggressive always influence more, no matter how nice the church plays. It sounds great on paper, but the cost has been great. People dredge up no issues, pastors don’t speak about sin forthright anymore. Great, if all one wants is more titalating storeis? Because that is all the church has got in its arsenals now, with all its evasiveness. The social gospel will grow greater, and the spirit will die. It is not life-giving or passionate. Integration has hurt us.
This sounds like you were reading my heart and personal apostolic mandate and function. Stop peeping at my revelatory notes in my own life and heart! lol! You put my purpose in words better then I could communicate it at times.
Alright… Heart checklist for Apostolic Ministry
Excellent!
Thanks
