not sure what is so shocking ? those who believe the church is the kingdom have the same belief as the Roman Catholic church -the kingdom of God in scripture is the influence of God that emanates from the throne of God – His Kingdom rules over all said the psalmist and book of Daniel and so on- the church does not reign over all but is the main agent of the kingdom
That is correct. The church is definitely not the kingdom of God. We are told by Jesus to seek first the kingdom of God, which is the administration of the presence, principles and protocols of heaven in operation in the earthly realm. The church is the facilitator of kingdom manifestation, not the kingdom. Jesus said he would build his church, he told us to seek the kingdom. Ref kingdom def.
This is awesome especially point 4… I’ve been hearldling that notion for years and a similar perspective is outline Peter Wagners book “Dominion”
Jospeh, Are you kidding? “The church is not the kingdom but is in the kingdom as its hierarchy.”
